Fallen Solder

I'm extremely proud to share this render, After working on it for a couple of hours, I had some artistic challenges with the composition and the color palette I would use
Had to face some technical difficulties since I realized alembic doesn't support motion blur (which makes sense) and found a way to go around this within my deadlines.
Some of the water and smoke simulations were achieved using Houdini 18 and imported into Blender as VDB and Alembic files
Rendered using Blender 2.9 using 512 samples and some denoising work on the different passes,
My compositing and color Grading stage was realized exclusively in After Effects.
